Tyrese Haliburton’s father returned to the stands at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Game 4 of the Pacers’ series against the Knicks, after missing eight playoff games due to an incident with Giannis Antetokounmpo. John Haliburton’s return coincided with Tyrese’s historic performance, a 32-point triple-double with 15 assists and 12 rebounds, leading the Pacers to a 130-121 win. This made Tyrese the only Pacers player with multiple postseason triple-doubles and just the third NBA player with a 30-15-10 triple-double in the playoffs. Tyrese credited his father’s presence for added motivation, noting his dad’s infrequent attendance at his games growing up. The Pacers now lead the series 3-1, putting the Knicks in a difficult position to rally.
